Korea Risk Management Society, Inc. (KRMS) is a chartered non-profit organization dedicated to advancing the research and practice of risk and safety management. We are the premier professional association of risk management scholars and other thoughtful professionals in Korea. Through KRMS, members receive many valuable materials and opportunities for enlightenment, growth and education. Conferences, special seminars, research papers, and recognition combine to make KRMS well worth joining.

Founded in 1989, the association's membership is comprised of academics, individual risk and insurance industry representatives, and institutional sponsors such as Financial Supervisory Services(FSS) of Korea. KRMS emphasizes research relevant to the operational concerns and functions of risk management & insurance professionals, and provides resources, information and support on important risk management issues. Our goals also include the expansion and improvement of academic instruction to students of risk management, insurance, and safety engineering.

KRMS's ability to provide networking, information, and support on important risk management and insurance issues makes it a valuable organization to its members. Those provisions come from a variety of awards, publications, and conferences, including Journal of Risk Management.
